Great, professional service. I've been getting my smog done at quik smog for 6 years. This year a new smog law came in affect, for vehicles 95 and older. Full inspection for engine modifications. My 93 Chevrolet 1500c had an original motor, without any modifications, but they said that i had a throttle body spacer, and i can't pass smog. I checked online for my engine specs, and everything was original. Got it checked out by my mechanic, and he said that everything was OEM. I called the smog shop, and explained what my mechanic had told me. They asked me if my mechanic was smog certified, and i said no. There response was that my mechanic didnt know what he was talking about. Obviously if my mechanic was smog certified, why would I go anywhere else to get a smog done. Next day i went to AMC auto repair, a block away from this place, who are mechanics, and do also do smog. There was a puncture in the vacuum hose, which was replaced for free. And i passed smog, without any other changes. I paid $65 dollars. $10 less than quick smog. Great, professional, & better service for less. My new smog shop. And by the way, quik smogs $25 coupon is just a gimmick. $10 cheaper without a coupon, now that's honest. I normally don't leave reviews, but my experience at AMC auto repair was so great, i could'nt resist.
